Dance Better. Live Better.
“a Tucson dance company” (TDC) was founded in 1990. The primary mission of the company was to provide a safe, fun, friendly place for children and teens to learn various styles of dance.
Among our goals was to allow childrenthe opportunity to showcase what they've learned and all their hard work via community performances for charities and other events. Company members also have always been encouraged to support each other, maintain good relationships, good grades in school, and foster an overall friendly environment in the studio, as well as in the community. TDC members are ambassadors of good will while in the Tucson community.
We also LOVE our fabulous Adult learners! Options for them include Tap, Jazz, Cardio Circuit and Strength & Toning. So much fun when you can get fit, and laugh & share with each other while working out. You won't even realize it's a work out!
We look forward to continuing to grow our family of movers. Come join us!

Classes We Offer
Jazz
This is a fun class that helps dancers grow in other styles of dance also. In this class, your child/teen will learn jazz technique and styles, and routines to contemporary, upbeat music. Technique includes turns, leaps, jumps, kicks, and more!

Due to its longstanding existence and fusions with other styles of dance, Jazz dance is a little difficult to define. Here is an article to help better understand this style.
"The Jazz Breakdown"
Tap
Tap is a fun way for kids to express themselves! Rhythms are created using metal taps attached to the heels and toes, while also using jazz and ballet technique in order to create a routine that's both fun to do and entertaining to watch. Tap turns time steps will be learned, along with so much more! Come make
happy noise with us!
Ballet
Ballet is a beautiful, graceful style of dance. Children will be taught ballet technique, including leaps, turns, feet and body placement and more.More advanced dancers will eventually learn pointe, where the dancer is on their toes!
Musical Theatre/Company
Students in this class will learn jazz and ballet technique, along with expression through dramatic interpretation of music and song. Routines learned will be entertaining and fun! This dance style is always a favorite
